- A North Carolina mother is suing Roblox for prioritizing profits over the protection of children from pedophiles, including by allowing a predator to pay her child for explicit images in Roblox currency (for which Roblox receives a percentage and profits from this abuse).
- A California lawsuit against Discord, as well as Roblox, alleges that their platform designs allowed a young girl in Florida to be groomed and sexually exploited. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that the companies marketed their products to children and as safe to children, while making it easy for pedophiles to use the platform to harm them.
