What happens when a family claims a food product made them seriously ill? That question is now at the center of a federal lawsuit involving SpaghettiOs, Campbell’s, and Walmart.

Family’s Allegations Against Campbell’s and Walmart
According to the lawsuit, a Florida mother says she bought SpaghettiOs from Walmart, prepared them at home, and then discovered what appeared to be worms or parasites moving inside the food.
Discovery of the Alleged Food Contamination
The complaint alleges that she and her daughter had already started eating the product before the contamination was discovered.
They claim they later suffered an illness, including an alleged parasitic infection.
It is important to be clear that these are allegations.
Campbell’s and Walmart Respond to the Claims
Campbell’s has said the claims are without merit and that it intends to defend the case.
Walmart has said it will respond in court.

From a legal standpoint, this case raises a larger issue. When someone brings a contaminated food lawsuit, the case usually turns on evidence.
