Dupixent Use and Potential Cancer Link: What You Need to Know
Have you or a loved one used Dupixent for eczema or atopic dermatitis and were later diagnosed with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL)?
If so, you’ll want to hear this.
I’m Attorney Tracy Paulsen with Rightful Legal, and on March 31, 2025, the FDA released a national cancer safety warning after detecting a possible link between Dupixent (dupilumab) and a rare, aggressive skin cancer known as CTCL.
What Is CTCL—and Why It’s Often Misdiagnosed
Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that affects the skin. It can be very difficult to detect in its early stages and is frequently misdiagnosed as eczema.
This means that Dupixent may be unmasking or worsening undiagnosed lymphoma in patients who are taking the medication—many of whom are being treated for what was believed to be a non-cancerous condition.
No Cancer Warning on Dupixent Label—Yet
As of now, there is no cancer warning listed on the Dupixent label. Many doctors remain unaware of this emerging risk, which puts patients at greater risk for delayed or missed cancer diagnoses.
At Rightful Legal, we are currently reviewing potential lawsuits against the manufacturers of Dupixent for two major types of injuries.
Who May Qualify to File a Dupixent Lawsuit?
We are accepting potential cases from individuals who:
- Were diagnosed with CTCL after starting Dupixent;
- Experienced rapid progression of undiagnosed or misdiagnosed lymphoma after using Dupixent.
If you were prescribed Dupixent and were later diagnosed with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, you may be eligible to file a lawsuit.
Your Right to Know and Take Legal Action
The manufacturers of prescription medications have a legal duty to warn patients of known or foreseeable risks.
We believe patients have:
- A right to be warned about dangerous side effects of medications prescribed every day;
- And a right to justice when those warnings are absent and harm occurs.
If your diagnosis matches these criteria and you believe your cancer went undiagnosed or worsened after taking Dupixent, you may be entitled to compensation for medical bills, pain, suffering, and more.
